  • Social networking giant Facebook valued at $50bn

    Digital socialising platform Facebook has gained a substantial sum of investment making the company’s value to much more that bn (£32.2bn).

    New York Times reports states, Goldman Sachs has endowed 0m (£289m) in the social networking website whilst Russian internet investment business Digital Sky Technologies invested a further m to Facebook’s account.

    But Financial Times report show, Goldman Sachs invested 5m (£240.8m) which is the cumulative total of the part investment made by Digital Sky at m (£48.2m).
